If you volunteer, you SAVE . . . $200 off your SKATING BILL.
Volunteer Bond Fees:
Half Season $200= 4 credits Full Season $200 = 8 credits
This fee is pre-dated within the uplifter system and will be charged April 15, 2024 if you have not completed your volunteer obligation. Lots of opportunities are available. Check out our volunteer opportunities! Need more options, please feel free to contact us at skating@live.ca.
Why do I have to provide a volunteer bond?
Just like most other non-profit sports organizations, fundraising and volunteering helps keep the club costs down, which in turns keep our registration fees down. We are required to have National Certified Program Coaches during all of our sessions and these coaches are paid, not volunteers. On top of paid coaches, we have ice rental fees, off-ice activities, and supplies which increase every year. Registration fees alone do not cover Tillsonburg Skating Club's ice rental and coaching fees.
All families are required to provide a volunteer bond. Failure to provide the volunteer bond, skaters will not be allowed on the ice until the bond has been received by the Tillsonburg Skating Club.
