Drop-In Policy

The Tillsonburg Skating Club (TSC) offers drop-in skating to provide flexibility for skaters who cannot commit to a full session or who wish to try our programs before registering.

Eligibility

• • • • Drop-in skating is available for STARSkate and Competitive sessions only.

      • Skaters must meet the minimum skating requirements for the session they wish to attend.

      • All skaters must hold a current Skate Canada membership.

      • Participation is subject to available space and coach approval.

Drop-In Fee

• • • • $45 per session

      • Payment must be completed through the TSC registration system before attending.

Attendance Limit

To encourage full program registration while still offering flexibility:

• • • • A skater may attend a maximum of 3 drop-in sessions per skating season (Fall/Winter, Spring, or Summer).

      • Once a skater reaches the maximum number of drop-ins, they must register for the appropriate program to continue skating with TSC.

      • The drop-in limit applies regardless of which session or day is attended.

Registration

• • • • All drop-in sessions must be booked in advance through the TSC registration system.

      • Walk-on registrations are not permitted.

      • Drop-in spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis and may be closed when sessions reach capacity.

Cancellations

• • • • Drop-in fees are non-refundable unless the session is cancelled by TSC.

      • If a skater is unable to attend, notice should be provided as early as possible.

Club Priority

Registered TSC skaters always receive priority. The club reserves the right to limit or suspend drop-in availability based on registration numbers, ice capacity, coaching resources, competitions, or special events.

Exceptions

The Board or Session Coach may approve exceptions to this policy in special circumstances, including:

      • Trial sessions for skaters considering full registration.

      • Ice schedule changes or other exceptional situations
